SCBWI will be hosting Graphic Novel Day tomorrow at Cal State Fullerton and I will be the moderator of a panel of experts. This page was an sample assignment for attendees to draw up following a short script. I'm doing a couple of new things with this. One, I am working much smaller than normal (the original is on 8 1/2 x 11 paper with the intent of achieving a looser style and working faster (Graphic Novels can be a time intensive medium). Two, I am using computer lettering for the first time instead of hand lettering. I prefer to do my own lettering but again, this allows me to work faster.
