I spent a week at the Illustration Academy in Sarasota, Florida and found it to be an amazing experience. Sure, it was a little intimidating, a little humbling but ultimately inspiring, educating and valuable. The student to instructor ratio is low and the level of talent among the teachers is the highest imaginable. And generally the students weren't slouches either.
