This was another LA Times illustration that I did for their kids' section and I get the most fun solving the visual puzzles that come up with these assignments. The puzzle this time: draw an epiphany. No problem.
Within the story, a boy, upon hearing classical music for the first time, is so moved by the music that he has a vision. And I love drawing animals so I knew I would work the the deer into the image.
