Tomorrow, September 5th, on the Today Show on NBC, the teenage writers of the book "LoveSick" will be interviewed with their coach/therapist Lynnette Wilhardt. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to illustrate the stories of the young authors. You can find those illustrations in a previous post. It's a tough subject but the writing by these guys is touching and insightful. It was my job to create visualizations of their expressions, and so I brought an expressionistic style to the book. I surprised everyone on the project and myself as well and the results were very positive.
It's my hope that their interviews tomorrow can bring more attention to the book, the talented young people, and the KidsKonnected charity that Lynnette leads.
