John Tenniel exercise

This was my valentine to Veronica but ended up being a great opportunity for me to learn from the master of linework, John Tenniel.  American illustrators I think of from the same period are much more bold and graphic but some of the British illustrators (Tenniel, E. H. Shepard, etc.) had a real delicacy about their work.  It was a really good exercise.  And there are few bigger Alice in Wonderland fans than Veronica, so it worked out.
