Lost in Manhattan

This was my illustration for a promo children's illustration calendar that went out this year (Black, White and Red All Over.)  Each artist created a black and white image with some dramatic spotting of red.  My image captured my own feeling of being a country mouse (or fox in this case) lost in the big city every time I visit New York.  It was a great project with great results.  I was proud to be juxtaposed with work by friends and artists whom I really admire (Mary Peterson, Jaime Zollars, Dan Santat, Ken Min, Catia Chien, Yoko Tanaka, etc.) I was Mr. March.
